Over 1/3 of the current world’s population are unaware about global warming, especially countries that are just beginning to develop, such as Africa, parts of Asia and the Middle East. In the Western world, opinions and the response about the issue of global warming are divided. Some fail to see that global warming is worsening, while others have hidden agenda, stating global warming is not as bad as it seems, just because they are profiting from the oil and gas industry.
Generally, people are accepting the fact that global warming can be cause for serious concerns. However, most of these people are also not doing anything at all to help or even prevent global warming. They may say that global warming is bad, and they try to teach their kids about global warming, but if nothing is put into practice then there is no point.
People need to start to actually help. Contribute towards the battle against global warming. Even little things can go a long way – such as carpooling. There are so many ways to help the environment, regardless or not if it truly helps at the end of the day. It’s still good practice, one that will help our children pave the path for tomorrow.
Most scientists have already accepted the fact that humans are contributing to the series of climate changes from global warming. They even urged and called upon world leaders to make new rules and policies to cut global carbon dioxide emission. Aside from that, environmental organization, public figures such as Barrack Obama, and celebrities like Leonardo Di Carpio, also help the world by making people more aware about the issue of global warming.
Hopefully, the future of our children will be much better when the issue global warming is reduced at a massive scale.
