Global warming has become a major concern. It brings forth many adverse effects to the human race and the environment. At this point of age, most people tend to be ignorant about the global warming future, which is why the awareness and knowledge of global warming must be educated and informed to them. As human practice and activities contributes more to global warming, environmentalist and scientists have outlaid what will happen in years to come.
Global warming future – What will happen?
2050 – Flash floods will occur more in regions of the Europe. Agriculture products are likely to reduce up to 70% in a few areas in the world. The population of the world reaches 9.4 billion people and developing countries are going to be overcrowded. More hygiene related diseases are likely to rise up to 5% in third world countries. In the Asian region, the coral reefs are likely to be up to 30%. Huge deaths increase in heat-related to due long periods of heat wave, especially in Australia.
2080 – Intense increase in droughts causing poor hydropower electricity production and more heat waves are likely to occur especially in major areas in the Europe and the Mediterranean. Some areas in the world will dry up, while others will be engulfed with water. People living in low areas are more likely to face bad storms and typhoons. Sea levels in major parts of America like New York and its neighbors will increase up to 3 feet
2100 – Fever related diseases like malaria and dengue is estimated to reach up to 3.5 billion people. As the Earth gets warmer, ecosystems will start to show deterioration, due to inability to adapt to the major climate change. More carbon dioxide will be released to the atmosphere, due to thawing permafrost and about 30% of animal and plants are likely to be extinct. Some parts of the world will have significant decrease in moisture levels, which leads to the creating more dust bowls.
With these entire occurrence that are going to happen us, we should start prioritize ourselves to combat global warming starting today.
