Global warming is defined as the increase of the Earth’s average temperature. They are the main culprit of weather inconsistencies and climate change that is affecting the world, causing losses of lives and billions of properties damaged. For young children to understand the issue of Global Warming that is affecting the Earth, it has to be taught through hands-on observable simple experiments. Here are some of the global warming for kinds experiments and examples you can try as a parent –

1. Take a globe and show to your children where the cold regions of the world are, and tell them they are covered in ice. Use a cube of ice to represent the ice caps on the icy regions, and leave it on a warm area for a while. Tell your children to take notice of that the longer the ice cube is kept warm, the sooner it melts, and this is what is happening in those icy regions.

2. Tell your children that uncontrollable loggings are contributing to the worsening of global warming. This is because the excessive carbon dioxide is not absorbed by plants. You can conduct a simple experiment placing some plants or flowers in your children’s rooms. Soon, they will feel that their rooms are more airy, fresh and less stuffy compared from before.
